About Museum of Northern Arizona

The Museum of Northern Arizona was established to protect and preserve the natural and cultural heritage of northern Arizona and it does so through collections, conservation, research, and education. The entire family will see and learn exhibits of the Colorado Plateau, as well as collections and educational programs, publications, and research projects.
The Museum of Northern Arizona collects, studies, interprets and preserves the region’s natural and cultural heritage.
As the only accredited museum within 150 miles of Flagstaff, the Museum of Northern Arizona plays a vital role as interpreter of the Colorado Plateau.
