Colorado Mills is home to the “Mars Outpost” – a free play area sponsored by the Denver Museum of Nature & Science. The play area is open Thursday through Sunday during mall hours. In this space-themed play area, families can take a break from shopping to explore Mars! Learn about the Red Planet through imaginative play as kids climb through a rocket, use the telescope to view the planets “orbiting” overhead and discover more about the universe and the scientific process with interactive screens. The play area is cleaned three times daily at 1:30pm, 5:00pm and at closing. You can find the Mars Outpost in Neighborhood 4 near Build-A-Bear Workshop.
