These magical & award-winning creations are an experience you and your family do not want to miss. Here you can explore giant castles and sculptures carved completely out of ice that are lit with LEDs.

Join the town of Manitou Springs for a full weekend of Mardi Gras fun on Friday & Saturday, February 21st & 22nd!
Here you will find all sorts of celebratory events, including a Mumbo Jumbo Cook-Off, Carnivale Community Parade, and more! The parade is a Manitou Springs tradition and will take place on Saturday, February 22nd at noon. This parade is free for all to attend and will feature fun and colorful paraders and floats.

BookBar in Denver and Real Baby are teaming up for a special baby-storytime in Denver!
Bring your real baby and get a coupon to Real Baby! These special-themed storytimes are designed for the very little ones, so bring your baby and converse with other parents and enjoy a special, quiet storytime that you will surely love. Real Baby Storytime takes place on the third Friday of every month from 10 AM – 11 AM. Drink specials start at 10 AM and the story begins at 10:30 AM!

Join the Arapahoe Philharmonic and City of Greenwood Village for a very special family concert.
This year’s theme is Wild Kingdom and the concert will include music featuring different animals by the Arapahoe Philharmonic and Dr. Noize. Your family will love this morning of music and imagination. Arrive early for the concert to make your very own animal mask and visit the instrument petting zoo.

Join the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum for the opening of the special exhibit Una Familia Grande: The Conejos Neighborhood Project.
This community based history project allows neighbors to tell their own stories to celebrate and enlighten the community about the Conejos Neighborhood’s identity, history and culture. The event will be a family friendly celebration featuring dance, traditional foods, music, crafts and more.

Looking for the ultimate in Family Fun? Look not further than Denver FamilyFest, a festival dedicated to all things Parents, Babies and Kids!
Here you will find a variety of kids entertainment that the whole family will love participating in. You will also find a variety of stage presentations, interactive activities, creative stations, bounce houses and so much more. All entertainment is included in the ticket cost!

Treat your kids to this family theater performance by critically acclaimed master storyteller, musician and poet David Gonzalez.
You’ll learn about the literature, folklore and rich cultures of Spanish-speaking countries around the world through music and lively rhythms.
Where: Butterfly Pavilion | Westminster

Gather up your family for a one-of-a-kind sleepover at the Butterfly Pavilion. You’ll get to explore the secret world of the Pavilion after dark and discover the secrets of the tropical rainforest in a unique way.
The overnight includes up-close animal encounters, hands on activities, fun games and crafts. Gaze at the stars while enjoying s’mores around the campfire before settling in for the night. When you wake up, you’ll be treated to breakfast provided by Snooze before the Butterfly Pavilion opens to the public.

For some children with autism spectrum or sensory processing disorders, a visit to a museum like WOW! is difficult or overstimulating.
In 2015, they launched Sensory Friendly Playtime, a low sensory event where children with autism spectrum or sensory processing disorders can explore the Museum without the noise, crowds, and stimulation of a typical day.

Museum admission is FREE on select days at Denver Museum of Nature and Science.
Enjoy exploring all of the awesome exhibits like Prehistoric Journey, Space Odyssey and Gems and Minerals. Be sure to take your kids to the Discovery Zone – a special hands-on area just for little ones.

When: Sunday at 2pm
Your family can enjoy this special event presented by Parker Arts. From 2:00-4:00pm, there will be live entertainment by DSA Youth Jazz Ensemble, Black American West Museum and the Stafford Hunter Jazz Quartet. Kids can do crafts led by Downtown Aurora Visual Arts.
Comedian Sam Adams will be there as a special guest. At 4:00pm, families can enjoy a showing of Akeelah and the Bee – an inspirational film about an 11 year old girl with a gift for words from South Los Angeles who overcomes difficult challenges to participate in the Scripps National Spelling Bee. Popcorn will be available to movie-goers.

Ski for free every Super Sunday at Historic Howelsen Hill in Steamboat Springs.
Ski the same trails as Steamboat Olympians just steps from downtown. It’s as easy as simply stopping into the lodge to pick up your free ticket, which is required to access the ski lifts and the Nordic trails on these special Ski Free Sundays.
