Fun Family Activities in & Around Denver: February 14th - 16th

Start your weekend right with Family Night at Little Monkey Bizness in Colorado Springs. Your little ones will love playing, climbing and having a blast! Parents will enjoy discounted admission for the kids and pizza.

Discounted Admission is $8.50 for kids 3-8 years, $6.50 for walkers 2 and under and $4.50 for crawlers. Pizza is $1.80 per slice. Accompanying adults are free.

This FREE festival in Loveland takes place on Friday & Saturday, February 14th & 15th 2020 at the Foundry Plaza in Downtown Loveland. Here sweethearts and families can celebrate all things Love with lots of fun activities for guests of all ages.

Treat your little artist to a creative night out with family and friends.

Create a beautiful work of art together and make lasting memories.

In this workshop, students will learn a simple step-by-step process to draw and paint a darling unicorn.

Add a little glitter and dazzle, and this project is a dream come true for any unicorn enthusiast. Please pack a nut free snack and drink for your child.

Do your children love the Denver Zoo? Treat them to a Valentine’s Day Bunk with the Beasts adventure!

Looking for a fun & educational event that the whole family will love?

Join the Nature Center at South Platte Park hosts free films by the fireside in the friendly and comfy environment that the Nature Center provides. These films are environmentally focused and family-friendly.

Kids learn the basic movements, self defense, mental awareness as well as situational awareness (with some awesome black belt moves of course!).

Each day packed with learning drills, fun games, and plenty of challenges regardless of age or skill level. Dojo Source also teach one of our 5 values, 5 animals and a bit about each everyday.

A great musical show based on the beloved children story. 

As the clock strikes seven o’clock, all your favorite characters in the Great Green Room spring to life on stage: Bunny, kittens and mittens, bears and chairs, the red balloon, a (not-so-quiet) old lady, and – of course – cows jumping over the magical moon. You and your kids will love experiencing this classic tale as you’ve never seen it before!

Inside the Orchestra presents a new concert for the little ones.

Tiny Tots concerts are designed to get your little ones interested involved in the process of making music.Tour the wide world of music with music from around the Globe.

Clyfford Still was a unique artist in the abstract expressionism and color field movements.

When he died, he stipulated that his work could not be separated, and arranged for all of his work to go to a city that would open a gallery showing just his work. Enjoy this museum dedicated entirely to the artist for free on select days.

Take your little sweeties down to Uncorked Kitchen for a day of fun and creativity.

You’ll prepare and enjoy a fabulous menu of Valentine’s themed treats together. Cooking is a wonderful way to create precious memories with your children and it’s even better with a chef guiding you and a kitchen perfect for little cooks.

This month’s movie is the classic The Princess Bride.

Ski for free every Super Sunday at Historic Howelsen Hill in Steamboat Springs.

It’s as easy as simply stopping into the lodge to pick up your free ticket, which is required to access the ski lifts and the Nordic trails on these special Ski Free Sundays.The City of Steamboat Springs will host four enhanced Ski Free Sundays on Dec. 15, Jan. 12, Feb. 16 and March 15. In addition to free skiing, these events will feature a beer garden, food trucks, patio games and more.

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with your little sweetie at a Kids Art Party at Artistic Fox Art Studio.

The Dillon Ice Castles are back again for another season!

These magical & award-winning creations are an experience you and your family do not want to miss. Here you can explore giant castles and sculptures carved completely out of ice that are lit with LEDs.

Stay up late with your little stargazers and explore the beautiful Colorado night sky.

After dinner at the Museum, enjoy planetarium shows then head outside (weather permitting) to view some of your favorite constellations through high-power telescopes. Head back in to warm up with a hot chocolate bar and to create your very own star-studded crafts.
