The Denver Zoo offers only a handful of free-days every year, and this Friday is one of them! Bring the whole family for a fun, educational & cheap day out. Winter admission at the Denver Zoo usually costs $15 for adults and $10 for kids, so this is a great opportunity to take advantage of. On the second Sunday of every month, Denver’s Downtown Aquarium offers a low sensory morning for families who prefer a calm & relaxed environment. During this special morning the aquarium will be open early at 8:30 AM, and the lights will be turned up while the exhibit noises turned down. This is a great experience for children with special needs or who get anxious in large, loud crowds.
This weekend the Aurora Dance Arts will be featuring a unique twist on the classic tale, Alice in Wonderland. This is a family-friendly performance this is fun, imaginative and appropriate for people of all ages. It also features an array of dance performances including ballet, jazz, tap and contemporary.
