On the second Saturday of each month, you can treat your family to a day at the Longmont Museum. Check out changing exhibits on history, art and science and Front Range Rising, a long term exhibit on the history and culture of the region. The Museum hosts hands on education programs for all ages, indoor and outdoor concerts and changing exhibits in history, art and science.
About The Longmont Museum
The Longmont Museum is a center for culture in Northern Colorado where people of all ages explore history, experience art, and discover new ideas through dynamic programs, exhibitions, and events. Also has a great auditorium with concerts, movies and special attractions. Well known for it’s annual Day of the Dead celebration.A wonderful museum that features a standing exhibit on the history of Longmont and temporary exhibits on a variety of subjects, from World war 1 to Low Riders, Ansel Adams paintings to robots and dinosaurs .
For the little ones, do not miss the dinosaur exhibit with hands on activities for children and the tree house exhibit.
