Aesop is famous for his fables; short tales which illustrate truths about life and human nature. Most of his fables feature familiar animals, including “The Grasshopper and the Ant,” “The Tortoise and the Hare,” “The Boy Who Cried Wolf” and “The Fox and the Grapes.” These magical tales, set to music from the 50s and 60s, come to life right out of the storybook encouraging children to read. Children are selected from the audience to play some of the roles. Each performance is followed by a question and answer session with the actors.
