Load your family in your vehicle and cruise over to the Brandimere Speedway in Morrison for an awesome Christmas lights experience!

Here you can drive through acres of more than 1.5 million lights set up & synced to holiday music that you can hear through your radio. This festive event is fun for everyone and is open until January 4th, so no need to rush there before Christmas.

The Celebrations of Nativities and Light returns this year to showcases nativities from all over the world!

This event is a celebration of cultures and beliefs, and is a great educational experience for attendees. Kids and adults will love exploring the different features as well as the beautiful holiday lights that illuminate downtown Fort Collins.

This holiday tradition is a favorite for families in Colorado! Every year the Hudson Gardens Event Center becomes decorated with thousands upon thousands of decorative lights and installations that are sure to impress.

Here you can explore the trails that are alive with lights wrapped around trees, floating on water, and on display in every direction.

The Denver Botanic Gardens’ annual event returns again! For over three decades the annual Blossoms of Light turns the Gardens’ into a magical land of holiday spirit and light.

Step foot into this twinkling wonderland for its last weekend of the year! The Botanic Gardens are even open on the 24th, 25th and 31st!

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo offers special School Break Camps for kids to learn all about animals, conservation and the environment from professionals!

These camps offer a variety of different activities and learning experiences for kids of all ages. Camps are broken down into different age aroungs : Kindergarten (half-day), 1st & 2nd Grade, 3rd & 4th Grade, and 5th & 6th Grade.

Check out the holiday lights downtown before disappear for the season on a Holiday Lights Walking Tour!

This 1.5 hour tour will start at the Denver City & County Building and explore some of the coolest spots in Downtown. Great chance to scope out your perfect spot for the fireworks on NYE!

Transport your family to a magical land of ice without leaving the Denver metro area. ICE!® featuring Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer in Mistletoe Village at Gaylord Rockies is sure to be a blast.

Check out the two-story ice slides and giant ice sculptures carved from more than two million pounds of colorful ice. This event is kept at 9 degrees, so make sure you bundle up tight!

While visiting the Gaylord Rockies Resort for ICE!, check out Cirque Dreams Holidaze, an electrifying holiday spectacular!

Cirque Dreams Holidaze is an in-the-round theatrical experience that features dazzling costumes, aerialists, dancers, singers, and so much more. This live and action packed theatrical event lasts 75 minutes and is captivating for kids and adults alike.

The Denver Pavilions’ Holiday Carousel returns again this year for another season! Located on the 16th St. Mall & Glenarm Place, this carousel is open daily and a fun treat for all to enjoy.

Kids and adults alike will love taking a ride before/after checking out all that the Pavillions’ has to offer. The Carousel is also open on New Years Eve until 1 AM!

The first Friday of every month means that Downtown Denver comes alive with art and entertainment! You don’t want to miss the First Friday Art Walk that will feature a variety of artists, vendors, performers and more!

Go Ice Skating

There are multiple places in & around Denver to go Ice Skating with the whole family!

For ice skating fun in Downtown Denver, check out the Downtown Denver Ice Rink at Skyline Park for amazing fun and FREE admission (skates can be rented for a small fee). Some other fun spots to skate include The Rink at Belmar in Lakewood, Old Town Square Skate Rink and The Pond in Fort Collins!

If the weather allows for it this winter break, bust out the sleds and take the kids to one of the many great sledding spots in Denver & Beyond!
