Where: Howelsen Hill | Steamboat Springs
When: Sunday, March 1, March 8 & March 15 | 10am to 4pm
Ski Free every Sunday at Historic Howelsen Hill in Steamboat Springs. Stop by the lodge for your free ticket to access the ski lifts and Nordic trails.
March 15 will be an enhanced Ski Free Sunday and Closing Day celebration with additional fun like food trucks, patio games, beer garden and more.

Enjoy a day exploring the grounds of Denver Botanic Gardens – Chatfield thanks to the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District.

Every first Saturday of the month, MCA Denver invites Colorado residents to partake in Penny Saturday where admission is $0.01. Check out art, get some culture, and do it for one cent.

Enjoy the art collections and non-ticketed exhibitions totally free. Please note, children under 18 are free every day but this is a great opportunity to treat the entire family to a free day of fun!

Join the CU Boulder Collegiate Chapter of MTNA for a fun and inclusive Carnival of the Animals concert for children with ASD and other sensory sensitive needs.
This musical experience will be an adapted concert experience offering a fun and safe space for children of all needs.

Enjoy free general admission on the second Friday of each month courtesy of the support provided by your Scientific & Cultural Facilities District.
Take a journey to 1859 at Four Mile Historic Park. Families can learn about Denver’s frontier days at this little slice of Colorado history, and the site of Denver’s oldest house. Tour the museum, stroll the gardens and grounds, pan for “gold”, and visit our farm animals.

Don’t miss one of the biggest holiday celebrations of the year in Downtown Denver this March!
The annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade is a celebration of community and culture where everyone can feel a little Irish. Dress up in your favorite Green attire and bring the whole family downtown to the LoDo District.

On the second Saturday of each month, you can treat your family to a day at the Longmont Museum.
Check out changing exhibits on history, art and science and Front Range Rising, a long term exhibit on the history and culture of the region.
Where: Plains Conservation Center

A joint effort by the City of Aurora and Denver Botanic Gardens, Plains Conservation Center is a place of learning for adults and students.
Discover the cultural history of Colorado and learn about the prairie ecosystem. Admission is free from 10am-2pm on select Thursdays in 2020.

Enjoy a Family FREE day of nature exploration at the Denver Botanic Gardens at York Street.
This is made possible by the SCFD. Your children will love exploring the gardens and greenhouses of Denver Botanic Gardens. The Mordecai Children’s Garden (open March 1 – October 31) is a wonderland of exploration for little ones of all ages.
Where: Clyfford Still Museum
When: Tuesday, March 24 | 10am to 5pm
Featuring work exclusively by the modern artist Clyfford Still, this museum is a unique treat for art lovers of all ages.
While kids 17 and under are always given free admission, on one day per month, the museum is free to all visitors.
